Job Description
Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and assisting with budgeting and audit activities.
Key Responsibilities
Handle daily accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) activities.
Process supplier invoices, staff expense claims, payment vouchers, and ensure timely payments.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate accounting records, financial reports, and supporting documentation.
Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly GST returns and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning exercises.
Perform intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and balance confirmations.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and other external parties on finance-related matters.
Support annual statutory audits, including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
Perform ad hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with GST reporting and compliance requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
