We are looking for a practical and hands-on Safety and Health Officer (With Green Book) to oversee workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance across our manufacturing operations.
This role is responsible for driving a safe working culture, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and taking proactive action to prevent workplace incidents, hazards, and operational risks.

Key Responsibilities
- Enforce company policies and procedures relating to occupational safety, health, and environment to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and hazard identification across production, warehouse, and operational areas.
- Inspect machinery, equipment, work areas, and work processes to ensure safe operating conditions and compliance with safety requirements.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, property damage, injuries, and occupational illness, and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Organize and coordinate safety committee meetings, including preparation of reports, meeting records, and incident documentation.
- Conduct weekly toolbox meetings for employees and contractors before commencement of work.
- Conduct safety induction for new employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Carry out routine patrols to ensure employees, contractors, lorry drivers, and visitors comply with company safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Identify unsafe conditions and ensure prompt rectification to prevent recurrence.
- Liaise with internal departments on environmental, health, and safety matters.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements, internal procedures, and audit requirements.
- Maintain proper safety records including inspections, incidents, investigations, training, and compliance documentation.
- Schedule and monitor pest control activities.
- Support ISO 9001 documentation, audit activities, and compliance with QMS requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

- Must possess a valid Safety Officer Green Book.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment with direct safety responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, hazard control, incident investigation, and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience in workplace inspections, audits, toolbox meetings, safety training, and enforcement of safe work practices.
- Familiarity with RBA, DOSH, ISO 9001, and safety management systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, make timely decisions, and drive corrective actions effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Willing to work on shift.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
