About the Job

We are looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, supporting daily store operations, and helping to achieve individual and store sales targets. This role is suitable for individuals who are customer-oriented, responsible, energetic, and interested in the fashion and retail industry. Fresh graduates and candidates with no prior retail experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Greet customers and provide friendly and helpful product recommendations.
• Promote products, campaigns, promotions, and new arrivals.
• Assist customers with product enquiries and provide a positive shopping experience.

POS Handling & Checkout

• Operate POS systems and process cash/card transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and provide customers with accurate receipts and change.
• Escalate complex checkout issues or customer complaints to the Supervisor or Store Manager.

Store Operations

• Assist with daily store opening and closing routines.
• Maintain store cleanliness and product presentation.
• Follow visual merchandising guidelines and ensure products are properly displayed.
• Support daily store operations and maintain a neat and organized sales floor.

Stock Management

• Assist with receiving, checking, arranging, and replenishing stock.
• Participate in scheduled stock counts.
• Ensure products are properly arranged and available on the sales floor.

Team Support

• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Participate in product and sales training to improve product knowledge.
• Maintain good teamwork and follow store procedures and floor discipline.

General

• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Store Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with no retail experience are welcome to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and according to retail shift schedules.
• Passion for fashion and menswear is an added advantage.
