Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of Singapore Airlines Academy. He/She will lead the design, development, and delivery of impactful learning solutions that address client needs, drive capability development, and support revenue generation—while ensuring high standards of quality, compliance and brand reputation.

This is a 2 years contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop standard and bespoke learning solutions in both in-person and virtual formats, translating concepts, frameworks and SIA’s aviation expertise into practical, applicable skills and behaviours that can be effectively transferred across industries. Solutions should be tailored to the client’s context, business needs and learner profile. Core deliverables include Training Slides, Learner’s Guide, Facilitator’s Guide and Assessment Plan, where applicable.
• Deliver learning programmes to external clients to the expected standards of Singapore Airlines Academy, demonstrating strong facilitation skills and the ability to make concepts relevant and applicable to different industries and business contexts.
• Conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions to prepare, coach and calibrate facilitators in delivering programmes consistently and effectively, across both in-person and virtual formats.
• Continuously enhance and evolve learning programmes based on client feedback, Course Evaluation Questionnaire (CEQ) results, industry and market trends, emerging business needs, and relevant policy or procedural changes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in client engagements, articulating the Academy’s programme portfolio and translating client challenges into relevant, value-driven learning solutions. This includes the ability to connect concepts and methodologies to practical workplace applications across different industries and functions.
• Conduct learning needs analysis and research for external clients, as required, using appropriate data collection methodologies such as stakeholder interviews, surveys, focus groups and mystery shopping, and translate findings into actionable learning interventions.
• Support client presentations and business development efforts as required.

Requirements

• Possess a University Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in related fields such as Education, Learning & Development.
• WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP), or the prior WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE).
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP), or the prior WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in learning & development, curriculum design and facilitation of training programmes.
• Strong instructional design expertise and experience in designing client-facing or revenue-generating learning solutions.
• Proven experience in designing curriculum focused on service and operational excellence, particularly within the operational and/or financial services sectors. A deep understanding of industry-specific processes, regulatory requirements, and best practices is highly advantageous.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, assessment and survey tools, virtual delivery tools (Teams, Zoom).
• Proficiency in instructional design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) will be advantageous.
