Full Time Protege Civil Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,000 in Scanwolf Corporation Berhad Federal Territory - Maukerja

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PROTÉGÉ – Civil Engineering trainee to support our retail outlet renovation, expansion, maintenance, and construction-related projects.

This position provides fresh graduates with hands-on exposure to project coordination, site inspections, contractor management, technical documentation, and retail fit-out operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination & Site Supervision

• Assist in coordinating renovation, refurbishment, and expansion projects for retail outlets.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, workmanship, and compliance with specifications.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and mall management.
• Assist in monitoring project schedules and ensuring timely completion.

2. Technical & Engineering Support

• Assist in reviewing construction drawings, floor plans, and technical specifications.
• Support basic measurements, quantity take-offs, and cost estimations.
• Assist in identifying defects and coordinating rectification works.
• Ensure renovation works comply with relevant safety requirements and mall guidelines.

3. Contractor & Vendor Coordination

• Assist in obtaining quotations from contractors and suppliers.
• Compare quotations, material specifications, and proposed work scopes.
• Monitor contractors' progress and report any delays or technical issues.
• Support verification of completed works before payment recommendations.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare site inspection reports, progress updates, and photographic records.
• Maintain project documentation, drawings, quotations, and contractor records.
• Assist in preparing project timelines, checklists, and completion reports.
• Update management on project progress and outstanding matters.

5. Maintenance & Operational Support

• Assist in coordinating minor repairs and maintenance works across retail outlets.
• Support troubleshooting of building-related issues involving plumbing, electrical coordination, flooring, ceilings, and fixtures.
• Assist with preventive maintenance planning.
• Undertake other project-related assignments as directed by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings, site coordination, and engineering principles.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, or project management software is an added advantage.
• Good communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to retail outlets and project sites when required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Malaysian citizens who meet the applicable PROTÉGÉ programme eligibility requirements.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
