JOB DESCRIPTION

• Study, review, highlight, and resolve any discrepancies in drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BQ).
• Prepare project budget and develop the initial project schedule/timeline, ensuring all scheduling conflicts are resolved with regular updates and final approval from the Managing Director.
• Coordinate and ensure daily construction activities are carried out within approved cost, time, quality, and safety requirements through close monitoring with the Construction Team and Client.
• Monitor and track progress of each project phase and provide regular status reports to the Project Manager.
• Ensure all project issues are promptly resolved and escalated to relevant parties when necessary.
• Responsible for requesting and coordinating insurance, work permits, bank guarantees, and other statutory or contractual documents required for the project.
• Liaise with relevant local authorities, utility providers, and statutory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals within the required timeframe.
• Prepare and submit monthly project claims in accordance with the contractual cut-off dates.
• Prepare and compile Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals and submit to the Client.
• Follow up and ensure project claims are successfully certified and credited into the company’s bank account within the agreed timeline.
• Ensure proper project completion and handover to the Client, including documentation and defect rectification.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably with exposure to high-voltage transmission projects, especially 275kV substations Data Centre or underground/overhead transmission works.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant project experience in:
• High-voltage systems such as 132kV / 275kV transmission lines, substations, or underground power cable projects
• OR
• Civil works related to power infrastructure (substation civil works, foundation works, trenching, duct banks, etc.).
• Experience in Infrastructure and Electrical construction sites is highly preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling software (Primavera P6 is an advantage).
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to start work immediately.
• The position is available for projects located in the Southern, Northern, and East Coast regions of Malaysia. Candidates should be willing to be assigned to any of these locations based on project requirements.
• Willing to work on site and liaise closely with consultants, contractors, authorities, and clients.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
