Full Time Technical Presales Engineer Jobs, in Enplus Sdn. Bhd. Federal Territory - Maukerja

EN+ Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a technically competent and commercially minded Technical Pre-Sales Engineer to support our sales and project teams in developing technical solutions and proposals for data centres, power infrastructure, and industrial projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to develop compliant, practical, and cost-effective solutions from enquiry through tender submission and project handover.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer enquiries, tender specifications, technical requirements, drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and scope of work.
• Prepare technical proposals, compliance matrices, equipment selections, preliminary designs, and tender documentation.
• Develop solutions for genset containers, acoustic and fire-rated enclosures, PTUs, prefabricated power modules, and associated electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform preliminary engineering calculations, including container sizing, airflow and ventilation, acoustic attenuation, heat dissipation, cable sizing coordination, and equipment layout.
• Coordinate with suppliers and principals to obtain quotations, technical data, drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates, material take-offs, and technical-commercial comparisons to support competitive quotations.
• Identify scope gaps, technical deviations, exclusions, assumptions, and project risks before tender submission.
• Support sales meetings, technical presentations, customer clarifications, and tender negotiations.
• Coordinate with drafting, engineering, procurement, production, and project teams to ensure a smooth handover after order confirmation.
• Maintain technical documentation, proposal templates, costing records, and standard engineering references.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Preferably 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, tendering, proposal engineering, or project engineering.
• Experience in gensets, data centres, UPS systems, switchboards, electrical enclosures, HVAC, or industrial equipment will be an advantage.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, single-line diagrams, and equipment datasheets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD; experience with other engineering or costing tools is an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tender deadlines, and communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and occasionally overseas when required.
