We're Hiring: Senior Backend (Physical Design) Engineer

Location: Jurong East region, Singapore

Are you passionate about cutting-edge semiconductor design and advanced process technologies? We are looking for experienced Senior Backend (Physical Design) Engineers to join our growing chip development team and contribute to the successful delivery of high-performance SoC products.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Front-End Design team to define and implement chip floorplans, clock architecture, and power planning.

Own the complete Physical Design flow from Netlist to GDSII, including:

• Place & Route (P&R)
• Static Timing Analysis (STA)
• Formal Verification
• Physical Verification (DRC/LVS)
• Power Analysis
• Design for Reliability (DFR)
• Tape-out execution

Drive physical implementation closure for advanced-node designs.

Research and develop advanced-node Physical Design methodologies.

Build and enhance automation solutions to improve Physical Design efficiency, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Physical Design / Place & Route.

Proven project experience with advanced technology nodes.

Strong understanding of the full backend implementation flow, from Netlist to GDSII.

Familiarity with timing closure, physical verification, power optimization, and tape-out processes.

Excellent communication skills, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about semiconductor innovation.
