Role Description The AI Generative Filmmaker will design, direct, and produce short-form and long-form video content using AI tools and traditional filmmaking techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with creative strategists to develop concepts, writing scripts aligned with brand objectives, planning shoots or AI-generated scenes, and overseeing end-to-end video production. The role involves guiding AI generative workflows, managing post-production edits, and optimizing video assets for multiple platforms in line with marketing goals. This is a full-time hybrid role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with a mix of in-office collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. The AI Generative Filmmaker will work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure video content supports campaign performance and brand identity.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Film Direction and Scriptwriting to conceptualize narratives, develop storyboards, and guide creative vision.
• Candidates should possess skills in Film Production and Video Production to plan shoots, manage resources, and ensure smooth execution of video projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Post-Production to edit footage, apply visual effects, integrate AI-generated elements, and finalize deliverables for multiple channels.
• Experience working with generative AI video and image tools (e.g., AI video synthesis, AI compositing, motion graphics) is highly beneficial.
• Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, paid ads) and how video content drives performance.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and adapt to rapid feedback cycles in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant academic background or equivalent experience in film, media production, animation, or related fields is an advantage.
• Portfolio showcasing previous film, video, or AI-generated visual work is required to demonstrate storytelling and technical skills.
