Responsibilities
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Operator to support equipment and component packaging operations in a manufacturing environment. The role involves manual packaging, equipment handling, quality inspections, and ensuring all items are properly secured and prepared for transportation according to established procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform manual packaging of equipment and components according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure equipment is properly wrapped, cushioned, secured and packed to prevent damage during transportation.
- Follow the correct packaging methods, work instructions and safety guidelines for different types of equipment.
- Inspect equipment and packaging materials before packing to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Ensure all equipment is packed accurately and ready for handover to the delivery or logistics team.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe packaging work area.
- Handle packaging materials and tools appropriately.
- Perform basic visual checks to ensure packaging quality and completeness.
- Support other packaging-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, or related technical fields.
- 1–2 years of manufacturing, semiconductor, or assembly experience is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail to ensure equipment is packed accurately and securely
- Able to handle packaging tools and materials safely.
