Full Time Lorry Assistant / Warehouse Assistant Jobs, in Decho Selangor - Maukerja

• Experience: Prior experience in physical material handling, delivery, or warehouse operations is preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome.

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy loads regularly throughout the shift.

• Skills: Basic communication skills, reliability, and punctuality. Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately.

• Schedule: Willingness to work flexible hours based on delivery schedules, including early mornings or overtime when required.

1. Loading & Delivery Operations

• Assist in manual loading and unloading of goods onto and off the lorry.

• Secure cargo using straps, ropes, or nets to prevent movement or damage during transport.

• Inspect items before loading to ensure proper packaging and correct item counts.

2. On-Site & Route Support

• Accompany the driver on assigned delivery routes and assist with navigation and parking assistance where necessary.

• Carry and deliver items directly to customer sites, designated drop-off points, or storage areas.

• Obtain customer signatures on delivery orders (DO) or proof of delivery (POD) documents.

3. Basic Inventory & Vehicle Upkeep

• Report damaged items, wrong deliveries, or short shipments immediately to the driver or supervisor.

• Keep the lorry clean, orderly, and free of waste material.

• Assist with basic warehouse sorting, staging, or packing tasks when not on delivery runs.
