Western & Indian Cuisine

Location: The Society Restaurant & Bar, Setia Alam, Shah Alam
Salary: RM7,000 – RM10,000 per month

Position: Chef – Western & Indian Cuisine

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and oversee Western and Indian cuisine according to restaurant standards.
• Plan menus, recipes and daily food preparation.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste and presentation.
• Manage kitchen operations and coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Monitor food stock, ordering and wastage.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.
• Train and supervise kitchen team members.
• Ensure timely preparation and service during busy periods.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with strong Western & Indian cuisine experience.
• Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Creative, responsible and committed to maintaining food quality.
