Mankind Space Creation (Mankind Solution Sdn Bhd) is a design & build interior and renovation company based in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, delivering residential landed and commercial projects across the Klang Valley.

Who we are looking for

This internship is for current students doing industrial training who want to see the whole design & build process, from design proposal to site. Fresh graduates can look at our Junior Interior Designer role instead.

• Currently studying Interior Design, Architecture, Building / Construction Management or a related diploma / degree and looking for industrial training

• Basic AutoCAD and SketchUp

• Portfolio or student work samples (drawings, details or 3D) required when applying

• Good presentation and communication skills, comfortable joining client meetings

• Own transport is an advantage but not a must, you can follow the team to site

• Able to work fully on-site at our Sri Petaling office, Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm

You will work with our senior designers and project team on real landed design & build renovation projects: design proposals, detail drawings, site visits and client meetings.

• Help prepare design proposals and client presentation decks: concept, mood boards, layout options and 3D views

• Prepare detail drawings for carpentry, ceiling, flooring and built-in works with senior designers

• Help with material and finishes selection, samples and simple quotation / BQ preparation

• Go to site with the team for measurements, site records and progress checks

• Join client meetings with senior designers, take notes and follow up on drawings and changes

• Keep project files, drawing revisions and site records organised

• Monthly internship allowance RM600 - RM1,000 (based on skills and portfolio)
• Learn the full design & build flow, from proposal to site
• Real client meetings and site visits with senior designers
• Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
