A leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced Compliance Director to join its Singapore team. This is a broad generalist role with exposure across multiple business lines, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior management on regulatory, governance and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advice on regulatory requirements, business initiatives and new products.
• Develop, maintain and enhance compliance policies, procedures and controls.
• Engage with regulators and manage regulatory enquiries, inspections and reporting obligations.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, investigations and remediation activities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify and manage compliance risks.
• Deliver compliance training and promote a strong culture of governance and conduct.
• Prepare compliance updates and reports for senior management and governance committees.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of relevant compliance experience within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements and capital markets activities.
• Ability to provide practical, risk-based compliance advice to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience across investment banking, capital markets, wealth management, asset management or related businesses would be advantageous.
