Position: OT Manager

Location: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Salary: RM6,000 – RM7,999 per month

Employment Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Normal working hours

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Industry: Healthcare / Hospital

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the overall operations, staffing, and daily activities of the Operating Theatre (OT).

* Supervise and coordinate nurses and patient care personnel.

* Coordinate with surgeons, OT nurses, OT assistants, and anaesthetists.

* Manage surgical and endoscopy scheduling.

* Ensure adequate staffing, equipment, medical supplies, and inventory.

* Monitor infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.

* Manage Central Sterile Supply Unit (CSSU) operations.

* Provide staff training, coaching, and development.

* Monitor staff performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.

* Assist in handling incidents, infections, and patient/doctor complaints.

* Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements to policies and procedures.

* Ensure proper pre-operative procedures, consent requirements, and emergency response.

* Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department/Management.

Requirements

Education

* Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

* Professional nursing qualification is highly preferred.

Experience

* Relevant experience in Operating Theatre, surgical services, or hospital operations.

* Experience in supervising nursing and patient care personnel.

* Experience in OT operations, surgical scheduling, and staff management.

* Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and healthcare quality standards.

* Experience in managing medical equipment, supplies, inventory, and CSSU operations is an advantage.
