Make a Difference in the Lives of Our Seniors

Are you passionate about caring for seniors and creating meaningful experiences for them?

As a Community Care Assistant, you will build meaningful relationships with seniors, facilitate engaging activities, support their daily care needs and help create a warm, safe and inclusive environment where every senior feels valued.

Why Join Us?

Make a Meaningful Impact: Build relationships with seniors and make a positive difference in their everyday lives.

Enjoy a Varied Role: Combine caregiving, activity facilitation, social engagement and health monitoring in your daily work.

Develop Your Caregiving Skills: Gain hands-on experience in elderly care, client engagement and community-based care.

Be Part of a Caring Team: Work alongside colleagues who share a common purpose of providing quality care to seniors.

What You Will Do

  • Provide Personalised Care: Assist in developing and implementing Individual Care Plans (ICPs) tailored to each senior's needs, abilities and well-being.
  • Support Early Detection: Observe seniors' health and behaviour, identify changes or early warning signs of medical conditions, and promptly report concerns to the relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Create Meaningful Experiences: Plan and facilitate engaging group and individual activities, including games, exercises, handicrafts, social interaction and outings to keep seniors active and connected.
  • Promote Active Ageing: Encourage seniors to maintain their mobility, independence and confidence through suitable activities and daily engagement.
  • Provide Compassionate Daily Care: Assist the seniors with daily living activities, personal hygiene and mealtimes while maintaining their dignity, comfort and safety.
  • Monitor Health and Well-being: Measure, record and monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, pulse and respiratory rate, and report any abnormalities.
  • Ensure Safe Transportation: Assist with the boarding, alighting and escorting of clients to, from and within the centre, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Requirements

  • No prior caregiving experience is required — on-the-job training will be provided for candidates who are new to elderly care.

  • Willing to learn and able to perform basic caregiving tasks, including personal hygiene care, meal assistance and mobility support, with appropriate training and guidance.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, caregivers and colleagues.

  • Ability to converse in a second language or dialect is an advantage.

  • Patient, compassionate and committed to enhancing the well-being and quality of life of seniors.

  • Physically fit to assist clients with mobility and daily activities.

  • Positive attitude, responsible and a good team player.
