Full Time QA & R&D Executive Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,200 in Slim Foods Malaysia WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Culinary Arts or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in QA and/or R&D in F&B, QSR or food manufacturing.

• Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP and Halal requirements; internal auditor certification is an advantage.

• Good palate, attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Willing to travel to outlets and work flexible hours when required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Quality Assurance

• Implement and monitor food safety and quality systems (HACCP, GMP, Halal) across outlets and the central kitchen.

• Conduct scheduled and surprise outlet audits on hygiene, food handling, storage, temperature control and pest control, and follow up on corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with the Food Act 1983, Food Hygiene Regulations 2009, and JAKIM Halal and local authority requirements.

• Inspect incoming raw materials and evaluate supplier performance, including supplier audits and specification checks.

• Investigate customer complaints and product quality issues, identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.

• Maintain QA documentation, SOPs, checklists and records for internal and external audits.

• Train outlet teams on food safety, hygiene and quality standards.

Research & Development

• Develop new menu items, sauces and limited-time offers in line with brand direction and market trends.

• Improve existing recipes for taste, consistency, shelf life and cost.

• Prepare standard recipes, product specifications, portioning guides and preparation SOPs.

• Conduct product trials, sensory evaluations and shelf-life studies, and document the results.

• Source and evaluate new ingredients and suppliers together with the Purchasing team.

• Prepare recipe costing and work with Operations and Marketing on product rollout and outlet training.
