Full Time PLC Electrical Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 7,000 in Waftech Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.

• Proven hands-on experience programming industrial PLCs.

• Solid understanding of ladder logic, PLC I/O, and digital/analog signal handling.

• Ability to read and design electrical schematics.

• Working proficiency in English (technical documentation and customer communication).

• Working proficiency in Mandarin is required (technical documentation and customer communication).

• Willing to travel and work on-site at customer locations for integration and acceptance.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)

1. Experience with industrial fieldbus networks (CC-Link IE, EtherCAT, PROFINET, or similar).

2. Experience with semiconductor equipment or components, or other SEMI-standard / cleanroom equipment.

3. Experience with servo motion control and robot integration.

4. Experience with HMI development.

5. Familiarity with SEMI safety standards (S2 / S8 / F47).

6. Understanding of factory-automation / host-communication concepts.

7. Mandarin proficiency (advantage for coordinating with the engineering team and technical documents).

• Design, program, and commission PLC control systems for semiconductor equipment.

• Develop the equipment's communication interface to the customer's host / factory-automation system (based on customer specifications).

• Implement equipment safety circuits and interlocks (EMO, safety relays, light curtains) as independent hardwired logic.

• Design electrical schematics, panel layouts, and I/O lists; select control components.

• Integrate and coordinate with robots, motion axes, sensors, and servo drives.

• Build and run a control test bench to validate logic before shipment.

• Support on-site debugging and customer acceptance testing (SAT).
