The Marketing & Events Manager is the primary brand custodian for The Chamber, responsible for translating our premium identity into compelling consumer experiences. This role blends strategic brand management with on-the-ground event execution to solidify our position in the luxury retail space.

Core Responsibilities:

• Brand & Marketing Strategy: Define and implement marketing plans aligned with brand standards to drive brand awareness, consumer engagement, and sales growth.
• Creative Direction & Campaign Briefing: Develop clear, strategic creative briefs for the internal Creative Team (and external agencies / brand) to guide the conceptualization and production of visuals, promotional materials, and multi-channel campaigns.
• Brand Guardianship & Compliance: Ensure all branding and logo usage adhere to guidelines and maintain consistency across all activations and touchpoints.
• Experiential Events & Activations: Oversee the execution of consumer and trade promotions, sponsorships, and event activations to maximize ROI and strengthen brand presence.
• Industry-Led Masterclasses & Content: Work closely with key opinion leaders, sommeliers, and mixologists to develop masterclasses, tastings, and content that position The Chamber as a leader in fine wines and spirits.
• Strategic Brand Partnerships: Establish and expand collaborations with restaurants, bars, mixologists, and industry experts to enhance brand credibility, create unique experiences, and unlock new revenue streams. Proactively seek out partnership, co-branding, and experiential marketing opportunities.
• Membership Program Optimization: Design, launch, and continuously optimize The Chamber’s membership program. Drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value by creating compelling member benefits, exclusive experiences, and personalized engagement strategies.
• Brand Property Activation: Integrate brand platforms (Retail outlets, E-commerce, Private Chamber and Mobile Chamber) into marketing initiatives to enhance relevance, consumer connection and generate revenue. Develop strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support these objectives.
• Digital Branding & Media: Grow social media channels and leverage digital platforms to amplify marketing campaigns and engage target audiences. Plan, manage, and optimize digital ad spend across platforms to ensure efficient budget allocation, working closely with agencies and partners on media planning and reporting.
• Budget Management: Maintain accountability for marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution and accurate reporting against annual plans.
• Agency & Vendor Negotiation: Source, negotiate with, and manage third-party vendors (e.g., event production companies, printers, PR agencies) to ensure high-quality output while optimizing costs.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central marketing liaison, effectively communicating campaign goals and promotional details to front-line retail staff and the sales team to ensure seamless execution on the ground.
• In-Store Experience Alignment: Collaborate with the retail operations and VM teams to ensure that all physical in-store displays, point-of-sale materials (POSM), and promotional setups accurately reflect current marketing campaigns and maintain the brand's premium aesthetic.
• Campaign Reporting & Insights: Go beyond basic reporting by analysing consumer purchasing behaviour, campaign performance data, and foot traffic. Translate these data points into actionable insights to refine future marketing strategies and highly targeted product bundling.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor local and global trends in the luxury liquor, wine, and cigar industries. Keep a pulse on competitor activities and emerging consumer preferences to ensure The Chamber remains a market leader.
