Requirements
Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
Candidates fluent in Mandarin will be an added advantage to deal with mandarin speaking clients.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma of Corporate Administration or related field.
At least 3 years of working experience in the company secretarial is required for this position.
Preferably holder MAICSA membership.
Understanding with the Companies Act and other relevant laws and regulations.
Knowledge of Secretarial related platform and/or software, MYCOID, MBRS, MYDATA, e-Info is preferable.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular).
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities
Prepare and/or review meeting agendas, minutes of meetings, board and member resolutions, statutory forms/returns, and all corporate secretarial documents prepared by subordinates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to submission to clients and/or the Companies Commission of Malaysia and relevant authorities.
Coordinate and attend board, shareholders and committee meetings, ensuring timely preparation of agendas, meeting papers, minutes and resolutions, while liaising with the Board and Management on all related corporate secretarial matters in accordance with all relevant timelines, submission and announcement deadlines.
Liaise directly, or supervise subordinates in liaising, with auditors, due diligence solicitors, regulatory authorities, and internal departments on all corporate secretarial matters.
Keep abreast of regulatory developments and current issues relating to company secretarial practices and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
Provide guidance, coaching, and training to subordinates to support their performance and career development.
Identify technical and leadership skill gaps within the team and self and take proactive steps to address and strengthen capabilities.
Handle and/or supervise corporate secretarial matters relating to Initial Public Offerings (IPO), including preparation and coordination of relevant corporate documents, resolutions, statutory filings, due diligence and liaising with advisers and relevant authorities.
Undertake any additional ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as required to support Company's objectives.
