A Tour Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing travel tours for groups and individuals, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and Organizing Tours: Create detailed itineraries, including transportation, accommodations, and activities, tailored to client preferences.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with various service providers, such as hotels, transportation companies, and local attractions, to ensure all aspects of the tour are arranged and confirmed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients before, during, and after the tour, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Problem Solving: Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during the tour, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all participants.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients post-tour to improve future offerings and address any concerns raised.
Qualifications
- Education: A degree/Diploma in tourism, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not always required.
- Experience: Previous experience in travel coordination or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Familiarity with travel booking systems and software is a plus.
