Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Weigh and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
Assist with dough mixing, dividing, rounding and shaping.
Monitor proofing conditions and timings under supervision.
Assist with oven loading, unloading and baking after completing relevant training.
Check product quality, consistency and appearance, and report defects.
Follow production schedules and minimise ingredient wastage.
Store, label and rotate ingredients appropriately.
Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils and workstations.
Follow food hygiene, workplace safety and safe equipment operating procedures.
Perform other reasonable duties related to bakery production.
Requirements
Experience in bread making or bakery production is preferred.
Willingness to learn and follow recipes, instructions and safety procedures.
Good attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.
Able to perform production tasks involving standing, repetitive movements and handling ingredient trays, using appropriate equipment and safe work methods.
