Functional Business Analyst Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into detailed requirements, user stories and process designs.
• Coordinate requirements across business, design, development and testing teams.
• Manage requirement risks, changes, traceability and scope.
• Assess operational impact and support readiness planning.
• Support SIT/UAT preparation, defect triage and requirement clarification.

Requirements:

  6 to 9 years’ experience as a Functional Business Analyst, preferably within digital banking, card payments controls and wallet provisioning

  Strong experience across at least six full project delivery cycles.

  Able to independently:

• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop user stories, process designs and functional specifications.
• Facilitate requirements across business, design, technology and testing teams.
• Manage scope, risks, dependencies, changes and requirements traceability.
• Assess operational impact and support implementation readiness.
• Support SIT/UAT planning, defect triage and requirement clarification.

  Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication and documentation skills.

  Prior experience in Agile delivery and regional banking projects is preferred.

Key Domain/ Technical Skills:

·         Digital Banking (mandatory) with hands-on experience across App and Internet Banking customer self-service channels

·         Card services experience, preferably in card payments and controls, transaction authorization, and related card processing functions (preferred)

·         Digital Account Onboarding with a good understanding of end to end digital customer onboarding and account opening journeys

·         Card payments experience, preferably digital wallet provisioning and payment (e.g Add card to Applepay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay) (preferred)

·         Access & Security experience, preferably in Digital Identity, Authentication, Device Security and Transaction Signing (preferred)

·         Digital Account Onboarding with a good understanding of end to end digital customer onboarding and account opening journeys (preferred)
