Full Time Transport Planner (Senior Executive) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,000 in FMX (M) Selangor - Maukerja

Objective/ Purpose of the Job

Lead network, vendor and distribution planning for the B2B department, ensuring capacity, cost and vendor/client account performance are optimized across all lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead transport and network planning analysis to determine the most efficient distribution model based on shipment volume, capacity, service requirements and cost
• Conducts make-or-buy analysis to evaluate own fleet 3PL/vendor options including truck type, manpower, route, frequency and total transportation cost
• Develop and optimize distribution, route and capacity plans across delivery lines, opportunities to improve, utilization, service-levels and overall network efficiency
• Oversee account planning through the Distribution Planner and provide direction, scenario analysis and recommendations for warehouse/client requirements
• Monitor and report transport cost, fleet/vendor utilization, capacity and account performance, while driving continuous improvement and supporting key operational decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field
• 6 to 8 years in transport planning, network design or vendor/account management, including senior-level experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Office Suite
• Route/network optimization methods
• Excellent in Vendor contract and rate negotiation
• Client account planning and reporting
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Senior-level negotiation skills
• Cross-functional coordination
• Project and stakeholder management
