About this roles:

We are looking for an Asset Integrity & RBI Specialist to support the development and validation of our AI PlantOps product for the upstream Oil & Gas industry.

The role focuses on corrosion management, risk-based inspection (RBI), inspection planning, integrity monitoring, and remaining life assessment of Oil & Gas equipment.

You will work closely with Product Managers, AI Engineers, and UI/UX Designers to turn industry requirements into practical product features and ensure the AI provides accurate and useful integrity insights

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Asset Integrity, Corrosion Engineering, or Inspection within the upstream Oil & Gas industry.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of corrosion, corrosion monitoring, and integrity management.
• Experience with corrosion modelling tools such as OLI, Predict, ECE, Corrosion Analyzer, or similar.
• Good understanding of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), including API 581 and inspection planning.
• Familiarity with upstream Oil & Gas assets such as pipelines, flowlines, risers, separators, wellheads, and pressure vessels.
• Experience with UT, LPR, ER, corrosion coupons, sensors, and ILI.
• Knowledge of Integrity Operating Windows (IOWs) and corrosion control.
• Able to translate technical requirements into product features and work closely with AI and engineering teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Job Scope

• Define Asset Integrity, corrosion monitoring, and inspection workflows for the AI PlantOps product.
• Translate Oil & Gas corrosion and integrity requirements into product features and AI/model requirements.
• Work with AI, Engineering, Product, and UI/UX teams to develop practical integrity solutions.
• Define requirements for corrosion prediction, remaining life, risk assessment, and inspection planning.
• Support the implementation of RBI methodologies such as API 581 and DNV.
• Validate AI/ML model results against field data and industry standards.
• Support integration of inspection, corrosion monitoring, CMMS/EAM, and historian data.
• Help structure asset hierarchies, corrosion loops, and damage mechanisms for upstream facilities.
• Work with Oil & Gas customers to understand asset integrity challenges, inspection needs, and operational risks.
• Conduct user testing with corrosion engineers, integrity managers, and inspection teams.
• Provide technical expertise during customer demos, proof-of-concepts, and product deployments.

Additional Skills (Optional)

• Experience with API 510, 570, 580, 581, 653 (inspection and integrity codes)
• Knowledge of offshore corrosion challenges (splash zone, subsea, topsides) and subsea integrity
• Exposure to digital twins or AI/ML applications in corrosion prediction
• Familiarity with NACE certifications (Corrosion Specialist, Cathodic Protection, or Coating Inspector)
• Experience with inspection data management systems (IDMS) or integrity management software (e.g., IMS, APM, GE Bently Nevada, Hexagon, Wood)
