Responsibilities

Company Description Laman Seri Builders (M) Sdn Bhd is a leading forensic engineering firm focused on investigating and analyzing engineering failures, accidents, and product malfunctions. The company combines strong engineering fundamentals with in-depth technical expertise to identify root causes and recommend solutions that reduce risk and prevent recurrence. Clients come from a wide range of sectors, including construction, manufacturing, legal, and insurance, reflecting the breadth of the firm’s capabilities. A multidisciplinary team of civil, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineers delivers precise, reliable, and actionable insights for complex engineering challenges.

Role Description The Internship Trainee will support forensic engineering investigations by assisting with data collection, document review, and preliminary analysis under the guidance of senior engineers. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing technical notes, organizing case files, contributing to reports, and helping compile evidence and reference materials for ongoing projects. The trainee will also assist with basic research on engineering standards, regulations, and prior case studies, and may help with simple site-related preparations and administrative tasks. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Shah Alam, where interns are expected to work primarily on-site while having some flexibility to perform designated tasks from home.

  • High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting, manage time effectively, and adapt to a hybrid work environment in Shah Alam.
  • Interest in pursuing a career related to forensic engineering, consulting, or technical analysis is an added advantage.
