Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Workflow: Plan and coordinate daily shift schedules, assign tasks based on employee strengths, and track production or service deadlines.
• Team Guidance & Training: Conduct on-the-job training for new hires, coach staff, and clarify company policies or procedures.
• Performance Monitoring: Track individual and team metrics, provide regular constructive feedback, and address behavioral or performance issues.
• Conflict & Problem Resolution: Mediate staff disputes, handle customer service escalations, and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks.
• Communication & Reporting: Relay company goals and updates from management to the floor, and report productivity metrics up the chain.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce workplace health, safety regulations, and company compliance standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Typically 1 to 3+ years of working experience in a relevant industry (such as retail, logistics, manufacturing, or hospitality), with prior leadership experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma, NITEC, or a relevant diploma/degree in Business Administration or Operations Management.
