Full Time Manpower Support Officer (Casual) Jobs, in Civica Singapore - Maukerja

We are looking for Casual Manpower Support Officers to provide relief and operational support to our school library teams across Singapore. 

The role supports the day-to-day running of school libraries and provides additional manpower when regular library staff are away on leave or when operational support is required. 

Assignments will be offered on an ad-hoc basis, with opportunities depending on operational and relief coverage needs across our school libraries. 

Depending on the school and assignment, your duties may include: 

• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the school library.  

• Shelving, sorting and organising books and other library resources.  

• Assisting students and school staff with general library enquiries and activities.  

• Preparing and setting up thematic book displays and other library displays.  

• Assisting with general administrative and operational tasks within the library.  

• Supporting stock-taking, including the packing and unpacking of library materials.  

• Assisting with book condemnation and disposal exercises.  

• Supporting library setup, relocation or renovation activities, including packing, organising and repositioning books and library resources as required.  

• Carrying out other reasonable library-related duties based on operational requirements. 

Work Arrangements 

• Availability for 3 to 4 full weekdays per week is preferred.  

• Assignments will be offered on an ad-hoc basis based on the relief and operational needs of our school libraries.  

• Working hours will vary depending on the school assigned.  

• A typical workday may commence between 7:00 am and 8:00 am and end between approximately 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm.  
• School deployments will be based on operational needs, with consideration given, where practicable, to the candidate’s preferred region.
