Full Time Full Stack Software Engineer (Governance, Risk - Compliance) (1 Year Contract) Jobs, in Rhino Partners - Maukerja

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain secure, scalable applications and automation solutions supporting cybersecurity governance, risk management and compliance monitoring.

You will be responsible for end-to-end application development, building automated compliance assessment workflows, dashboards and reporting capabilities. The role involves working closely with cybersecurity, governance and technical stakeholders to translate regulatory and internal control requirements into reliable, efficient and maintainable technology solutions.

Full Stack Application Development

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain secure, scalable and high-performing full stack applications.
• Build responsive user interfaces, backend services, APIs and database solutions.
• Develop and integrate workflow automation capabilities for compliance assessments, evidence management, exception handling and remediation tracking.
• Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and production support.

Automation, Compliance & Risk Monitoring

• Translate cybersecurity, governance and compliance requirements into automated validation rules, checks and workflows.
• Develop solutions to identify compliance gaps, monitor risk controls and support remediation tracking.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to visualise compliance status, risk trends, assessment findings and remediation progress.
• Ensure appropriate audit trails, data accuracy and human oversight within automated assessment processes.

Cloud Engineering & DevSecOps

• Design and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, Infrastructure as Code and automated testing.
• Apply secure software development practices, including authentication, authorisation, encryption, secrets management and API security.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application performance, reliability and security.

AI & Intelligent Automation

• Explore and implement AI-assisted capabilities to improve document analysis, evidence assessment and compliance monitoring.
• Evaluate opportunities to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and intelligent workflow automation.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to improve automation accuracy, usability and operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, full stack development or application automation.
• Experience participating in at least three Agile or end-to-end software development lifecycles.
• Proven experience developing, deploying and supporting production-grade applications.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Next.js or Vue.js.
• Hands-on backend development experience using Node.js, Python, Java or .NET.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL or PostgreSQL, including database design, data processing and transformation.
• Proficiency in API development and system integration using REST, GraphQL, gRPC or WebSockets.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Good understanding of secure application development, including IAM, JWT, authentication, authorisation, API security and OWASP Top 10.
• Experience implementing automated unit, integration and application testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, IT compliance or audit processes.
• Familiarity with IM8, NIST, ISO 27001/27002 or related ICT security frameworks.
• Experience deploying applications within Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).
• Exposure to AI/LLM integration, RAG, document analysis or intelligent automation.
• Experience developing dashboards, data visualisation tools or workflow management systems.
• Familiarity with web scraping, batch processing, serverless architectures or low-code platforms.
• Experience working with government agencies or highly regulated environments.

• A hands-on engineer capable of independently delivering end-to-end software solutions.
• Strong ownership of code quality, application security and production reliability.
• Ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
