Truck Technician (Heavy Vehicle / Commercial Truck)

Location: Ipoh, Perak / Johor (Specific location to be confirmed)
Salary: RM2,500 – RM3,500 (Negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Working Days: Monday – Saturday

Company Background

Our client is an established commercial truck service company specialising in truck servicing, maintenance and repair. The company is involved in the servicing of European and Continental commercial truck brands.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and maintenance on commercial trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
• Carry out repairs involving engines, gearboxes, brakes and suspension systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and vehicle inspections.
• Identify vehicle defects and recommend necessary repairs.
• Prepare inspection reports and submit findings to the superior.
• Ensure repair work is completed efficiently and on time.

Requirements

• Preferably 3–5 years of experience in truck or heavy vehicle maintenance.
• Automotive / Mechanical qualification or relevant working experience.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines.
• Experience in truck maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools is an advantage.
• Experience with European / Continental trucks is an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence (GDL is an advantage, if required).
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
