What You'll Do:

Role Overview

Responsible for gathering and analysing business and user requirements while designing intuitive, user-centric digital experiences. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, end users, designers, and technical teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and practical solution designs.

Key Responsibilities

·Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and user requirements

·Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions

·Analyse existing business processes and systems to identify pain points and improvement opportunities

·Develop user personas, user journeys, information architecture, and navigation structures

·Create wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs

·Design intuitive and consistent user interfaces for web and mobile applications

·Conduct usability reviews and incorporate stakeholder and user feedback into design iterations

·Establish and maintain UI/UX design standards, reusable components, and design guidelines

·Work closely with developers and solution architects to ensure designs are technically feasible and correctly implemented

·Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation of scenarios, clarification of requirements, and issue resolution

·Facilitate requirement clarification and manage requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle

·Maintain requirements traceability and relevant functional/design documentation

·Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and stakeholder demonstrations

Required Skills & Experience

·Experience in both UI/UX design and business analysis for enterprise applications

·Strong understanding of user-centred design and UX design principles

·Proficiency with UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma or equivalent

·Experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, user journeys, process flows, and high-fidelity UI designs

·Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements

·Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and functional specifications

·Familiarity with business process modelling and requirements traceability

·Familiarity with accessibility and responsive design considerations

·Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills

·Ability to translate complex business requirements into simple and intuitive user experiences

·Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

·Exposure to system modernisation or application revamp projects is preferred

·Familiarity with enterprise-scale applications or public sector projects

·Experience working in Agile or collaborative delivery environments
