Full Time Junior Category Executive, Grocery Merchandise - Food Section - Petaling Jaya Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,500 in The Store (Malaysia) Selangor - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in managing category sales, profit, margin and inventory.
• Assist to review existing merchandise (Grocery and Food section) to ensure it remains competitive.
• Assist in products selections and category management.
• Assist to make purchase decision base on customers’ demand and market trends.
• Assist to define, plan, develop & execute promotion activities.
• Negotiating with suppliers on promotion, pricing and trading terms.
• Handle and follow up on outlets needs / suppliers queries.
• Assist in the development of house brand products.
• To undertake and perform any other job functions as and when required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM/Diploma/Degree in any discipline with at least 1-3 years working experience as buyer in retail supermarket or hypermarket business is preferred.
• Former Buyer or Merchandiser from hypermarket, supermarket, mini- market or grocery/convenience shops are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for Trainee Category Executive post as training will be provided.
• Computer Literate.
