We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible Part-Time Coding Instructors to join our teaching team. You will teach coding and programming to children and teenagers, using our structured curriculum and teaching materials.

Responsibilities:

• Teach coding and programming classes to students aged approximately 6–20
• Conduct lessons according to our structured curriculum and teaching materials
• Explain programming concepts clearly and patiently, adapting explanations to students' ability levels
• Guide students through coding exercises, projects and problem-solving activities
• Monitor students' progress and provide appropriate feedback
• Maintain a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment
• Communicate with the academy regarding students' progress and class matters
• Prepare for lessons and ensure classes start and end on time

Requirements:

• Computer Science degree holder preferred
• Good knowledge of Python, HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of Scratch, Lua and/or C++ is an added advantage
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Patient and comfortable working with children and teenagers
• Responsible, punctual and committed to scheduled classes
• Able to explain technical concepts in a simple and understandable way
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage, but not essential
• Working professionals and individuals with relevant programming knowledge or experience are welcome to apply
• Individuals who are able to work a few hours at our Kota Damansara centre will have an added advantage

Pay: RM40.00 - RM70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 12.0 per week
