We are looking for a Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master who bridges business, technology, and end-user experience.

You’ll lead end-to-end project delivery at The Software Practice, working with clients, engineers,

and designers to drive products from initial scope to production.

Our ideal candidate has strong business acumen, solid IT knowledge, and a hands-on software development background, ideally as a Senior Software Engineer / Developer who has transitioned into project management and client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversee project delivery, resource planning, capacity, and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage client relationships, expectations, and technical alignment.
  • Agile Delivery: Plan roadmaps, manage sprints, remove blockers, and track milestones.
  • Requirements & Documentation: Translate business needs into user stories and functional specifications while maintaining project plans and status reports.
  • Strategic Contribution: Align product direction with business goals and market needs.

Requirements

  • Singaporean / PR (no visa sponsorship).
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with hands-on software development / coding experience. Senior developers who have transitioned into project management, business analysis, or delivery leadership and have experience handling clients and stakeholders are strongly preferred.
  • Experience delivering software projects across the full development lifecycle, preferably using Agile.
  • Strong technical understanding of software development practices, architecture, and technical dependencies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to guide and mentor others.
  • Scrum Master certification (PSM, CSM, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Singapore Government client experience is a plus.
