THE JOBSCOPE
- Provide nursing care according to residents’ individual care needs.
- Monitor residents’ health conditions and report any changes promptly.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and assist with routine health assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing and medical records.
- Assist with medical procedures, consultations, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate with doctors, caregivers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support residents’ care.
- Ensure proper handover of residents’ conditions and care requirements between shifts.
- Provide support and guidance to residents and their families on general health care when required.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and urgent situations.
- Ensure infection control, hygiene, and safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain nursing equipment and ensure adequate medical supplies are available.
- Communicate residents’ care needs and health updates to the relevant parties.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with nursing standards and organisational policies.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Senior Nurse or management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
- Previous nursing experience is an advantage.
- Good clinical knowledge and nursing skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Caring, responsible, and patient-focused.
- Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
