Role Description The Mechanical Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Seremban. This role is responsible for managing mechanical engineering projects from concept through installation and commissioning, including planning, design, and execution. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing mechanical designs and CAD drawings, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications. The Mechanical Project Engineer will monitor project progress, manage technical documentation, support procurement of materials and equipment, and resolve engineering issues that arise during fabrication and installation. The role also involves preparing reports, attending site meetings, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge and hands-on experience in mechanical systems design and analysis.
  • Candidates should possess Project Engineering and Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating and reviewing technical drawings and models.
  • Candidates should possess understanding of Mechanical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within overall project designs.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering standards, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities, including coordination with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Seremban and travel to project locations as needed, with a focus on safety and quality.
