Job Description
Dynamic Communication Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Director to oversee strategic business development, investment planning, corporate strategy and long-term business expansion.
The role focuses on identifying investment opportunities, evaluating new business ventures, developing strategic partnerships and guiding the company's overall business direction. The successful candidate will work closely with management to strengthen the company's market position, improve business performance and explore expansion opportunities across Singapore and regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Strategy & Business Direction
Develop and implement long-term corporate strategies and business growth plans.
Establish business objectives, strategic priorities and expansion initiatives.
Review company performance and recommend improvements to profitability and operational efficiency.
Provide strategic direction for business diversification and sustainable growth.
2. Business Investments & Commercial Planning
Identify and evaluate potential investments, joint ventures and new business opportunities.
Assess investment proposals, financial projections, commercial viability and associated risks.
Oversee investment planning, capital allocation and business expansion strategies.
Monitor investment performance and recommend strategies to maximise commercial returns.
3. Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
Identify new markets, customers, projects and revenue opportunities.
Develop relationships with business partners, investors, clients and industry stakeholders.
Lead strategic negotiations and commercial discussions.
Explore opportunities across telecommunications, aviation infrastructure, engineering, data centres and renewable energy.
4. Financial & Business Performance Management
Review financial performance, revenue growth, budgets and profitability.
Coordinate with finance and management teams on financial planning and business forecasts.
Evaluate commercial risks and support major business decisions.
Monitor strategic initiatives against business targets.
5. Regional Expansion & New Ventures
Explore opportunities to expand into regional and international markets.
Assess new business ventures, strategic investments and potential acquisitions.
Develop market-entry strategies and business diversification plans.
Establish partnerships to support long-term business expansion.
6. Executive Management & Corporate Governance
Participate in major corporate planning and management decisions.
Work with department heads to align operational activities with company objectives.
Review internal business policies, management controls and corporate governance.
Oversee the progress of strategic projects and business development initiatives.
Requirements
No specific academic qualification is prescribed for this position.
Business management, investment, commercial or entrepreneurial experience would be advantageous.
Strong strategic planning, commercial judgement and decision-making abilities.
