Role Description The Presales Consultant - Cloud and Cybersecurity is a contract, on-site role based in Cyberjaya. This role involves engaging with prospective and existing customers to understand their technical and business requirements and aligning PLTPRO’s data centre, cloud, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery solutions to those needs. Day-to-day tasks include preparing solution proposals, presentations, and demonstrations, responding to RFPs and RFQs, and collaborating closely with sales and technical teams to design suitable architectures. The Presales Consultant will participate in customer meetings, conduct requirement-gathering sessions, and provide technical clarification throughout the sales cycle. The role also includes working with project and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover from presales to delivery and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and industry s

tandards.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess customer environments, identify gaps, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Candidates should possess Consulting capabilities to conduct discovery sessions, advise on best practices, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess Sales and Presales skills to support opportunity qualification, prepare solution proposals, deliver presentations, and contribute to deal closure.
  • Candidates should possess Project Management skills to coordinate presales activities, manage timelines for proposals, and support a structured handover to delivery teams.
  • Relevant experience in data centre, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or disaster recovery solutions is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple opportunities in parallel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL) is an advantage.
