Job Summary

Manage and support SAP system installations, administration, and upgrades to ensure system integration, availability, and performance across cloud and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

• Install SAP systems, perform system copies, and set up backup systems to ensure data protection and system reliability
• Integrate SAP systems with other landscape systems to support seamless business operations
• Provide S4 readiness support by preparing and configuring SAP environments for migration or upgrade
• Administer SAP systems and manage instances to maintain optimal system performance and availability
• Monitor and manage system availability to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations
• Perform SAP application-level database administration activities, including SAP and database parameter management for performance tuning
• Analyze BASIS notes and support OSS connections to resolve system issues and apply patches
• Manage transport requests and administration to control SAP system changes and updates
• Administer HANA and Oracle databases to ensure database health and performance within SAP environments
• Conduct kernel upgrades and perform adhoc BASIS tasks to maintain system currency and stability
• Execute Service Pack (SP) upgrades as required to keep SAP systems updated with latest features and fixes
• Utilize SAP Cloud experience to manage and support cloud-based SAP deployments and services
