We're looking for a passionate and driven Senior Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Executive at Vinda SEA HQ located at Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang (next to Setia Alam). If you’re ready to grow, contribute, and make a meaningful impact with a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.


How You'll Make an Impact?

1. Hardware and Virtual Infrastructure

• Administer physical servers, storage and virtual machines on approved virtualisation platforms; monitor health, capacity, performance and availability.

• Maintain secure configurations, asset records, firmware and equipment lifecycles; support procurement, upgrades and replacement planning.

• Support desktop and laptop deployment, standard images and escalated faults in coordination with the Workplace Services team.


2. Systems Cloud Identity and Workplace Services

• Administer supported server operating systems, directory services, centralised configuration policies, DNS, DHCP, file services and application infrastructure.

• Support cloud productivity services and identity administration within assigned roles, including account lifecycles, MFA, access reviews and sign-in troubleshooting.

• Deploy and verify operating system, application and firmware patches through approved endpoint and server management tools; track exceptions and remediation.

• Maintain secure endpoint configurations, software deployment and remote support through approved endpoint management tools.


3. Network Infrastructure

• Maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, internet links, SD-WAN and approved site connectivity.

• Troubleshoot routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, wireless coverage and connectivity using device logs, packet captures and monitoring tools.

• Maintain segmentation between users, servers, administration, backups and manufacturing networks; coordinate OT connectivity with engineering and authorised vendors.

• Monitor network capacity and availability, maintain diagrams and configuration backups, and coordinate faults and changes with service providers and China or regional IT.


4. Cybersecurity Operations and Access Control

• Maintain firewall rules, secure remote access, web security and zero trust access policies; review access requirements and remove obsolete access through approved change procedures.

• Support endpoint and server protection, including EDR; investigate alerts, maintain coverage and coordinate authorised containment with the SOC.

• Maintain SIEM log collection and onboarding; correlate identity, endpoint, firewall and server events with the SOC service provider to investigate and escalate incidents.

• Operate PAM controls for privileged and vendor access, including approvals, time-limited access, session records and credential rotation.

• Support vulnerability scanning, hardening and remediation tracking.


5. Backup Disaster Recovery and Resilience

• Operate and monitor server and cloud productivity backups; resolve failed jobs and verify coverage, retention and protected access.

• Maintain the approved 3-2-1 backup approach with offline or isolated copies, offsite storage and tape handling; keep backup and administration access separated.

• Perform scheduled restore and recovery tests, record results against agreed recovery time and recovery point objectives and resolve identified gaps.

• Maintain recovery runbooks and dependencies; participate in disaster recovery exercises and coordinate restoration during incidents.


6. Project Change and Vendor Coordination

• Deliver assigned infrastructure, security and automation projects; maintain plans, risks, testing, rollback procedures, documentation and handover records.

• Coordinate suppliers, quotations, licences and renewals; recommend technical options and cost improvements within delegated authority and approved budgets.


7. Monitoring Automation and Technical Support

• Use infrastructure monitoring tools to track availability, performance and capacity; tune alerts and report recurring issues.

• Develop and maintain scripts and API-based automation for approved provisioning, reporting, checks and routine maintenance, with secure credentials and change control.

• Investigate incidents by correlating logs, timelines and system dependencies; document root causes, corrective actions and preventive improvements.

• Provide escalated onsite and remote support, maintain SOPs and knowledge articles, and share technical knowledge with the IT team and users.


8. Governance Communication and Service Improvement

• Follow access, security, change, incident and data protection procedures; maintain accurate records and promptly escalate material service risks.

• Communicate progress and service impact clearly, coordinate across IT and business teams, and propose practical improvements to reliability, security and cost.


What Makes You a Great Fit?

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relevant discipline.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure and networking, including server administration, troubleshooting and backup operations. Experience supporting multiple sites, manufacturing operations, security tools and infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Relevant infrastructure, cloud, networking, virtualization, backup, Gen AI or cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.
  • Understanding of manufacturing IT availability and IT/OT access boundaries; cloud infrastructure experience is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel
