Job Description:

We are looking for a Food Science Intern to support our operations in food quality, safety, and product development within our catering business. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience for students who are interested in food production, quality assurance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring food preparation and production processes to ensure quality standards
• Support food safety and hygiene practices in kitchen and production areas
• Help maintain documentation for HACCP, GMP, and Halal compliance
• Assist in quality checks for raw materials, ingredients, and finished products
• Monitor food storage conditions, temperature records, and stock rotation
• Support internal audits and inspections
• Assist in product testing, standardization, and improvement of recipes or processes
• Coordinate with suppliers on food quality and compliance matters
• Perform other administrative and operational tasks related to food science and quality assurance as assigned

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Halal Management, or related field
• Basic understanding of food safety standards and quality control processes
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Internship placement for a minimum of 3 months preferred

Pay: RM800.00 per month
