Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Product, Computer Science, Business, Design, or a related field;

• Minimum 3 years of digital product-management experience, including at least 2 years directly owning iOS/Android apps; candidates must be able to explain products personally delivered and their results;

• Strong working knowledge of agile delivery, PRDs, user stories, prototyping, UAT, release management, and analytics;

• Comfortable with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Notion, analytics platforms, or equivalent tools;

• Strong cross-functional communication, prioritisation, structured thinking, and problem-solving skills;

• Experience with FinTech, next-generation digital platforms, social, entertainment, or community-based apps is preferred;

• Able to use Mandarin and English as working languages and collaborate effectively with international teams.

Position Overview:

The App Product Manager owns the mobile-product lifecycle from discovery and planning through design, development, launch, and iteration. The role connects users, business stakeholders, Design, Technology, Operations, and Customer Service, translating market and user needs into clear, executable, and measurable product solutions. Proven app-delivery experience is required; where the product includes complex transactions, account-security controls, or next-generation digital-platform functions, relevant product and risk-management knowledge is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define product direction and roadmaps based on company strategy, market research, user needs, and business objectives;

• Define target users, key use cases, product value, and measurable success metrics;

• Evaluate value, risk, dependencies, and development effort to prioritise requirements and manage the product backlog;

• Communicate product progress, key decisions, risks, and launch outcomes clearly to management.

2. Requirements, Design & Development

• Prepare PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications;

• Work with UI/UX designers to improve information architecture, user journeys, prototypes, and experience;

• Clarify requirements with engineering, participate in sprint planning, and resolve scope and priority issues;

• Coordinate UAT, defect triage, launch readiness, and release acceptance to ensure product quality.

3. Data, User Feedback & Iteration

• Define and track activation, retention, conversion, engagement, funnel, and feature-adoption metrics;

• Identify opportunities through user interviews, support feedback, community insights, analytics, and competitor research;

• Review post-launch performance, propose experiments and improvements, and drive iterative releases;

• Establish feedback loops with Customer Service and Operations and prioritise issues affecting users, security, or the business.

4. Digital Platform Product & Risk Coordination

• Understand the user experience of account connectivity, internal/external platform data, transaction states, service charges, and digital-information displays;

• Coordinate with Technology, Security, Legal, and relevant compliance stakeholders on workflows, disclosures, and controls for higher-risk features;

• Ensure the product never requests passwords or other sensitive security credentials and provides clear confirmation and risk warnings for irreversible actions.
