Role Description The Tendering Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Subang Jaya. The role involves preparing and reviewing tender documents, technical proposals, and cost estimates in response to client inquiries and project specifications. Daily tasks include analyzing project requirements, compiling quotations, coordinating with procurement for supplier and subcontractor pricing, and ensuring compliance with technical and commercial standards. The Tendering Engineer will liaise with internal engineering teams, sales, and management to clarify scope, mitigate risks, and align tender submissions with company capabilities and client expectations. The role also includes maintaining tender records, tracking deadlines, and supporting post-tender clarifications and negotiations as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret technical specifications, project requirements, and cost structures.
• Experience preparing and managing quotations, proposals, and tender documentation.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and cost comparison.
• Educational background in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software).
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict tender deadlines.
• Prior experience in tendering, estimating, or project engineering within the engineering or construction sector is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Subang Jaya and adapt to a fast-paced project environment.
