Vanguard Minerals Sdn Bhd is part of Vanguard Mining Group, a mining business operating in Malaysia and Indonesia. The group works across minerals and commodities, from exploration and feasibility to production and marketing.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Executive to support our financial operations and growing mining business.

About the Role

You will handle day-to-day accounting and finance activities, maintain accurate financial records, and prepare timely reports. Working with management and site teams, you will monitor cash flow, verify operational expenses, and support financial planning and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record daily accounting entries such as invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain and update the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
• Monitor and process billing, collections, and payments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control policies.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
• Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve accounting issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Familiar with accounting software SQL and MS office ( excel, word, powerpoint and others)
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and GST/SST regulations is a plus.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
