We Are Hiring: CHARGEMAN B0 (FACILITY MANAGEMENT)

At Synerlitz (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, we are committed to delivering reliable, efficient, and high-quality Facility Management solutions. We are looking for a competent, responsible, and motivated Chargeman B0 to join our team and support our Facility Management project in Kota Bharu.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical System Operation & Monitoring: Operate, monitor, and maintain electrical installations and equipment in accordance with applicable safety requirements and operational procedures.
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Plan, coordinate, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, switchgear, distribution boards, transformers, and related equipment, as applicable.
• Electrical Inspection & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine inspections, identify electrical faults and abnormalities, troubleshoot equipment issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Switchgear & Equipment Maintenance: Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities involving electrical switchgear, protection systems, cabling, and other electrical installations within the scope of the assigned competency.
• Contractor & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure electrical maintenance works comply with approved procedures, technical specifications, and safety standards.
• Site Supervision & Work Monitoring: Monitor on-site electrical works, coordinate maintenance schedules, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
• Technical Reporting & Documentation: Maintain electrical maintenance records, inspection checklists, work orders, equipment logs, and incident reports.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure electrical works comply with applicable Electricity Supply Act requirements, Electricity Regulations, Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) requirements, and site safety procedures.
• Electrical Emergency Response: Respond to electrical breakdowns, investigate faults, and coordinate appropriate recovery measures to minimize facility downtime.
• Facility & Asset Management: Maintain electrical asset registers, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance records to support reliable facility operations.
• Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with facility management teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve electrical issues and maintain smooth site operations.

Requirements

• Valid Chargeman B0 competency certificate recognized by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga), with authorization appropriate to the assigned electrical installation and duties.
• Relevant experience in electrical operations, maintenance, and facility management will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, switchgear, electrical safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Responsible, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to prepare technical reports and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
• Willing to attend site inspections, perform electrical maintenance activities, and respond to breakdowns when required.
• Able to work effectively with facility management teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
