Job Title: Preschool Teacher

Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and learning goals.
  • Foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development.
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones.
  • Maintain accurate student records, portfolios, and progress reports.
  • Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children at all times.
  • Establish positive relationships and communicate regularly with parents regarding children's development and classroom activities.
  • Support children's learning through play-based and inquiry-based approaches.
  • Organize classroom resources and maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, professional development activities, and parent engagement programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership to support school initiatives and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T) or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Minimum ECDA L1 Certification.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of preschool teaching experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate, caring, patient, and committed to nurturing young learners.
  • Proficient in English; additional languages will be an advantage.
  • Valid First Aid Certification is preferred.
