About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Low Code Engineer with strong OutSystems expertise and full-stack engineering capabilities to develop, maintain, and support secure, scalable, and reliable digital applications.

You will work across application development, system integrations, cloud infrastructure, database management, security, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong, and capable of troubleshooting complex production issues while driving continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Build and manage system integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, SFTP, and other integration technologies.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Manage OutSystems environments, deployments, upgrades, migrations, and platform operations.
• Troubleshoot application, workflow, database, integration, and infrastructure issues.
• Support production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server to optimise queries, data models, and database performance.
• Support applications hosted on AWS, GCC, or equivalent cloud environments.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, logging, and operational automation.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, access controls, encryption, audit logging, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality digital solutions.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience developing and maintaining applications using OutSystems.
• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of OutSystems architecture, LifeTime, Service Center, deployment processes, and development best practices.
• Working knowledge of C# and .NET for backend development and API integration.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including data modelling, complex queries, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, SFTP, or other integration technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCC, IIS, Windows Server, networking, security, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, logging, and production incident management.
• Understanding of secure software development practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
