The Construction HR Officer supports the workforce needs of the company’s construction projects. The role handles recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, and employee support for office and site-based staff, while coordinating with project managers and site supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard construction workers, site supervisors, engineers, and office staff.
• Coordinate worker deployment
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, certifications, and work eligibility documents.
• Track attendance, leave, overtime, and timesheets; coordinate payroll information with the payroll team.
• Support employee relations by responding to staff concerns and helping resolve workplace issues.
• Coordinate inductions and required training with site teams, including safety training.
• Work with project managers and site supervisors to forecast staffing needs.
• Prepare HR reports on headcount, vacancies, attendance, and turnover.
• Handle HR information confidentially and follow company policies and applicable employment requirements.
