Responsibilities
Descriptions:
Shipment Management:
Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods, including domestic transport and international import/export shipments via air, sea, and land.
Freight & Forwarder Liaison:
Book shipments and build strong working relationships with freight forwarders, third-party logistics providers (3PL), and couriers to secure competitive rates and reliable service.
Customs & Trade Compliance:
Prepare and verify critical shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin) ensuring full compliance with customs and trade regulations.
Milestone Tracking:
Track shipments from departure to final delivery, proactively resolving customs delays, transit bottlenecks, or delivery discrepancies.
Warehouse Coordination:
Partner closely with the warehouse team to schedule incoming/outgoing deliveries, optimize loading schedules, and ensure accurate inventory receiving.
Cost Tracking & Optimization:
Verify logistics invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and audit shipping costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Customer & Vendor Service:
Provide regular, transparent shipping updates to internal teams (Sales, Procurement, Production) and external customers regarding delivery timelines.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences in procurement, team management and cost saving projects in the semiconductor or construction industry.
Relevant Professional Qualification or a Diploma
Ability to work along with and motivate team members
Good communication and presentation skills in word and excel
Main HQ is in Taiwan, reporting work is required.
