C++ Software Engineer | APAC

We are partnering with a leading trading firm in APAC that is looking to hire a talented C++ Software Engineer to join its growing technology team.

This is an opportunity to work in a highly technical environment, solving complex engineering challenges and developing software that plays a critical role in the firm's day-to-day operations.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where technical ability, problem-solving and high-quality software development are highly valued.

The Role

• Design, develop and optimise high-performance applications using modern C++.
• Build reliable, scalable software capable of handling complex workloads.
• Work on challenging problems involving concurrency, memory management and system performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing and ongoing improvements to existing systems.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience developing software in C++.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency and performance optimisation.
• Strong debugging skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Previous experience in trading or financial services is beneficial but not essential.
